Advertisement Policy


At the Research Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry (RJPP), safeguarding the independence, objectivity, and scientific credibility of our publications is a top priority. To uphold these values, RJPP does not host or display any advertisements on its primary official website (https://rjpponline.org/Home.aspx), nor does it permit outside advertising agencies to promote products or services there.

While RJPP manages other web domains and official social media profiles, some of which may accommodate advertising, these platforms operate under separate advertising rules tailored to their respective audiences. Regardless of the platform, we maintain a strict commitment such that no advertisement will ever be allowed to influence editorial decisions, compromise research quality, or undermine the ethical foundation on which RJPP was established.

Ethical Standards and Right to Refuse

RJPP reserves the absolute right to reject any advertisement request that conflicts with our principles, mission, or ethical commitments. We adhere to lawful, responsible, and socially conscious advertising practices, ensuring that all accepted advertisements are in harmony with our journal's vision. Any promotional content that threatens the integrity, neutrality, or credibility of the journal will be refused outright, without exception.

Content Restrictions

To protect our academic and ethical standards, RJPP will not accept advertisements that:

  • Promote political agendas, parties, or religious ideologies.
  • Endorse or market alcohol, tobacco, vaping devices, or similar substances.
  • Sell or promote weapons, ammunition, fireworks, or any explosive materials.
  • Contain pornographic material, explicit sexual content, or related services.
  • Make unverified “miracle cure” claims or promise unrealistic medical outcomes.
  • Offer health products with exaggerated or unproven benefits.

Advertisers seeking to promote on RJPP managed platforms must comply with the following guidelines:

  • All advertisements must receive written approval from RJPP before publication.
  • Logos, icons, or promotional visuals must be clearly distinguishable from editorial or academic content.
  • Any claims made in an advertisement must be supported with credible documentation.
  • Advertisements must not suggest or imply that RJPP endorses a product, service, or company.
  • Advertisers are prohibited from collecting personal user information without explicit consent. If such consent is granted, advertisers must disclose how the data will be used and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

Revenue generated from advertisements will be allocated to support authors who require financial assistance in covering the Article Processing Charges (APC).
